How to Read Crypto Support & Resistance
A practical walkthrough using the measurements and controls available in Scalpy.
1. Choose the structure window
Open Patterns and choose 1H, 4H or 1D. Horizontal support and resistance are primary. Enable optional trend lines when you want to inspect sloping structure as a secondary view.
2. Read touches and distance
Use touch count, permitted deviation and current price distance to narrow results. A level is a zone with a tolerance, not a price that must hold exactly.
3. Wait for confirmation
A live-price crossing can enter BREAK WATCH. It does not by itself confirm a break. The scanner invalidates a level after two closed candles outside the permitted zone.
4. Understand the source
One asset uses one source: Binance Futures first, then Binance Spot, then an assigned exchange for assets absent from Binance. Listing badges describe availability elsewhere, not additional duplicate scans. A quality score is structural, not a win probability.
